Leadership that blooms from within
Harmony is a program created by Amadeus in collaboration with Brio that invites young people to discover and strengthen leadership from within, recognizing that every daily action can be transformative

Beyond traditional activism
We understand that leadership is not limited to great actions in public settings. In communities like Bello, Colombia, where realities are complex, leadership is manifested in daily decisions: in the way of relating, in resilience in the face of challenges, and in the ability to inspire others by example.

A community-centered approach
Harmony is based on the premise that true change begins from within. Through sessions that combine music, socio-emotional learning, and personal reflection, participants explore their values, identify their strengths, and develop skills to lead with empathy, creativity, and purpose.
Leadership as a daily choice
We believe that every young person has the potential to be an agent of change. Whether supporting a peer, participating in community initiatives, or simply being consistent with their values. Harmony seeks to accompany young people on this journey of self-discovery and commitment to their community.

Leadership as a daily choice
How does it work?
Through education, access to opportunities for decent work, and the strengthening of their emotional well-being, Amadeus participants develop tools to lead their lives with purpose, resilience, and a sense of community.

Sustainable and transformative impact
By strengthening the inner leadership of young people, Harmony contributes to the building of more resilient and supportive communities. The participants not only benefit personally, but also become positive role models for their peers, generating a multiplying effect of well-being and social transformation.

Leadership that is born from within
In challenging contexts, leadership flourishes when young people reconnect with their identity through compassion, cultivate habits that strengthen them, and awaken their creativity to imagine and build a meaningful future. A leadership that does not depend on positions or professions, but on the deep desire to contribute to collective well-being, being faithful to who they are and to the values that guide them.

A daily decision :
Leadership happens in the small acts of each day: in caring for someone, in offering help in difficult times, in participating with commitment in the community. The way a young person presents themselves in these situations reflects their inner world, their values, and their desire to contribute. At Harmony, we believe that leading is not just a role or a label, but a constant decision: to become, step by step, the person they want to be in order to transform what surrounds them.

Community and long-term impact
When young people cultivate leadership rooted in their values and well-being, they become role models for those around them. From their authenticity, they can accompany, inspire, and guide others as mentors, caregivers, and creators of solutions. In this way, their presence and example generate real systemic changes in their communities and sow new possibilities for the generations to come.
Know our model
Community-centered leadership as a reflection of our inner process
At Armonía, we understand community leadership as an extension of our inner world. Beyond external techniques or skills, it is the internal process — the awareness of our values, emotions, and decisions — that guides our actions with authenticity. We call this psychological flexibility: the ability to make value-based choices, even in times of pain and adversity.
That’s why the guiding question throughout the program is: What kind of person do I want to be? And what do I need to become that version of myself?
Like a symphony, Armonía proposes three essential movements that help us make decisions with integrity: reflect, expand, and act.

Reflect
Develop self-awareness, identify values, and make meaning of lived experiences.
Expand
Explore new narratives, expand possibilities, and cultivate skills.
Create
Make conscious decisions and take actions aligned with the identified values.
What does it look like in action?
